Captivated by the love of Christ, centered on Bible Teaching, built up in Fellowship, renewed by Breaking of Bread, empowered by Prayer, we will reach out and make disciples in the Kansas City Northland and beyond!
Our Mission Goals
- Preach and teach the word of God in a relevant, practical way
- Ground our vision and ministry in prayer
- Promote effective and enthusiastic worship
- Help everyone find their own part in the work of the ministry
- Foster open communication among us as a body – we will seek to follow the teaching of Scripture to “speak the truth in love”.
- Make programs that build nurturing relationships in the body
- Seek creative ways to get involved in the community and show people how they can find a relationship with God.
- Get behind missions around the world
- Be alert to ways we can help others in need.
- Keep looking for ways to help people feel at home with us.
- Provide warm, welcoming facility.
Practice
The Bible is the Word of God, comprising the Old and New Testaments will guide our faith and practice.
The church is an independent church, not part of any denominational group.
We believe in baptism by immersion as a testimony of a person’s faith in Christ.
We practice the Lord’s Supper on a regular basis, and it is open communion available to all born again believers in Christ.
